Where is the Cotillion held?
The Friday night event will be indoors at The Rocker Gallery in Sheffield, AL. The Saturday night event takes place outdoors at the Gallaher family farm in Waynesboro, TN — a historic 911-acre tree farm that has been in the family since the early 1800s.
Are there recommended hotels nearby?
Yes! We’ve reserved room blocks at The Stricklin and the Marriott Renaissance Shoals Resort & Spa. While you’re in town, we also recommend booking some time at the GunRunner Spa and exploring downtown Florence and nearby Muscle Shoals.
What’s the difference between Friday and Saturday?
Friday Night: An intimate evening of music outdoors at The Rocker Gallery. Please note: food and drink are not included.
Saturday Night: The full farm celebration in Waynesboro, TN! Enjoy a whole hog roast with all the fixings prepared by Josh Quick of Odette, plus music, fellowship, and dancing under the stars. Alcohol will be available on site for a donation.
What should I wear?
Friday’s outdoor concert is casual and comfortable, please dress for the weather. For Saturday’s outdoor farm event, dress for the weather! Boots or sturdy shoes are recommended, and festive attire is encouraged.
What should I bring on Saturday?
Since the Saturday event is outdoors, we encourage guests to bring flashlights, blankets, and lawn chairs for comfort.
Will food and drinks be provided?
Friday: Music only — no food or drink service.
Saturday: Yes! A whole hog roast and Southern sides, plus beverages available. Alcohol will be available for a donation.
Is there parking?
Yes, complimentary parking is available both Friday and Saturday. Volunteers will be on hand to direct you.
Is there a shuttle service?
Yes! On Saturday only, shuttle service will be available to and from Florence. Space is limited. If you plan to imbibe, we strongly recommend arranging a designated driver or hiring a car service to ensure you get home safely.
What happens if it rains?
The Cotillion is a rain-or-shine event. In the case of inclement weather, we’ll adjust plans to keep guests safe and comfortable.
What cause does the Cotillion support?
This year’s Cotillion benefits two extraordinary organizations: the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, honoring and supporting America’s heroes, and the Southern Foodways Alliance, preserving the stories and traditions of the Southern table.
